Flying

It seemed like just the other day i was saying how i couldn't wait for basketball camp and vacation. Now they've passed and i'm wondering where they went. I had a great time at basketball camp. Competing in the first round of 1on1 championship and participating in the free throw shoot off, but only walking out with the 3on3 trophy. Successful and the funnest week i've had there. After that i headed to Myrtle Beach where i also had my funnest week i've been there. Catching some gnarly waves at the beach, relaxing in the lazy river, and shopping at all the local malls and outlets. Those are the only main things i have planned for this summer, but might slip out across the country for a couple of Lazy Days in Los Angeles. Shoot by that time school will be around and that's something i am not looking forward to at all. In the mean time i'll be gaming on NCAA 10 and Madden 10.

Always enjoy going there, having fun and bringing home trophies. Then this Friday after basketball camp, heading down to Myrtle Beach for the next week. Hanging out with my family, enjoying the beach, and doing a little shopping. Also playing some golf, so can't wait for that. Hope everyone else is enjoying there summer because i sure am!

NBA Offseason

The NBA has given us a great offseason thus far, i know ive been keeping track of who's going where. If you thought last season was good next year will in my mind be a very competitive year. With the Spurs aquiring Richard Jefferson in a trade with Milwaukee and stealing Dejuan Blair in the draft there line-up of Parker, Ginobli, Finley, Jefferson, and Duncan makes them primed for success. Even though I hate the Cavaliers aquiring Shaq Daddy gives them an edge (if he stays healthy) in the East, because if you remember him on the Heat he was nearly unguardable by the East big men. The Magic's pick-up of Vince Carter could give them what they need to win the championship but it's going to be tough with the loss of Turkoglu. Back in the East the Detroit Pistons signing former UCONN teammates Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva could get them back to where they were a couple of years ago. As a Wizards fan i was looking forward to this season because we are getting Agent Zero back along with Brendan Haywood and we've added Randy Foye and Mike Miller but watching these other East teams add these stars makes me wonder. As long as we start playing defense and score the ball we'll see you LeBron for redemption this season. The BIGGEST move so far i think is adding Ron Artest to the Defending Champion Lakers. Although they lost Ariza who helped them a little bit, Artest brings point scoring and championship style defense which could lead the Lakers to a possible repeat. I believe though if the Boston Celtics sign Rasheed Wallace then they will be the favorite to win the championship this year. Just think about it Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Rasheed Wallace and a healthy Kevin Garnett guarding the rim, look out! My favorite thing about this season is going to be watching Blake Griffin play. He is a monster athlete and i said when he gets in the NBA he is going to be my favorite player, so i'm excited to see him Dominate even though he's a Clipper.
